Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Tymate TPMS (the “App”) is developed and published by Shenzhen Guanxin Zhilian Technology Co., Ltd. (“Tymate”, “we”, “us” or “our”), based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, People's Republic of China.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App and this website handle, how that information is used, and the choices available to you. It applies to the App on iOS, iPadOS and Android, and to the Tymate TPMS marketing website.

2. Privacy at a glance

• There is no account, sign-up, login or profile.
• Tire pressure and temperature readings are processed on your device.
• Your vehicle profiles, sensor pairings and preferences stay on your device.
• We do not use advertising, analytics, attribution or tracking SDKs.
• Deleting the App removes the data it stored on your device.
• This website sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers.

For app-store privacy declarations, this means: Google Play Data safety — no data collected, no data shared, and App Store privacy — Data Not Collected.

3. What we do not collect

We do not collect, request or receive any of the following:

• Names, email addresses, postal addresses or phone numbers
• Account credentials or user profiles
• Precise or approximate location data
• Contacts, calendar entries, photos, microphone audio or health data
• Advertising identifiers such as IDFA on iOS or the Advertising ID on Android
• In-app behaviour, usage analytics, diagnostics, or crash reports sent to us
• Payment or financial information. App-store purchases, if any, are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

4. What is processed on your device

The App processes the following information locally so that it can show your tire data:

• Tire sensor readings — pressure, temperature, sensor status and, where available, sensor battery level.
• Sensor identifiers — the identifiers needed to recognise the sensors you have paired.
• Vehicle profiles — the vehicle type, wheel layout and spare-wheel position you select.
• Preferences — pressure and temperature units, alarm thresholds and display options.

This information is created and stored inside the App's private storage on your device. It is not sent to us or to any third party, because the App has no user accounts and no server component for this data.

This website

This website does not set cookies, use local storage for tracking, or load third-party analytics, advertising or font services. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as an IP address and request time) to deliver pages, prevent abuse and troubleshoot failures. We do not use those logs to identify visitors, build profiles or serve advertising.

5. Permissions

The App requests only the permissions it needs to perform its core functions. You can review or change them at any time in your device settings.

Bluetooth / Nearby devices

Used to discover and connect to your tire sensors and to receive their readings. On Android 12 and later this appears as the “Nearby devices” permission. The Bluetooth connection is between your device and your sensors; it does not send data to us.

Camera

Used only while you scan the QR code on a sensor to pair it with a wheel position. Images are processed on your device and are not saved, uploaded or shared.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the App can show local alerts when a tire reading moves outside your thresholds. These alerts are generated on your device and are not sent through a push server.

Background monitoring

If you keep the App running in the background, it can continue receiving sensor readings. On Android this uses a foreground service, which the system shows as a persistent notification (“Tymate TPMS running”). On iOS, the App uses the Bluetooth background mode. Background monitoring only keeps the Bluetooth connection and local processing alive; it does not send data to us. Closing the App from the recent-apps screen stops it.

The App does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, microphone, calendar or health data. On some older Android versions, the operating system may ask for location permission when an app scans for Bluetooth devices; Tymate does not use location for any purpose and does not collect or store it.

6. How information is used

Information processed on your device is used only to:

• Display live tire pressure and temperature readings
• Trigger the alerts and threshold warnings you have configured
• Remember your vehicle layout, sensor pairings and display preferences
• Maintain the Bluetooth connection to your sensors

We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, research or any purpose unrelated to the App's features.

7. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade or share personal information. We do not integrate third-party SDKs that receive your data.

We may disclose information only if required by applicable law, regulation or a valid legal request, or if necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or of Tymate. Because we do not collect personal information through the App, we generally have no such information to disclose.

App stores, operating-system providers and device manufacturers process downloads, payments and platform diagnostics under their own privacy policies. This website does not link to third-party services other than the app stores.

8. Retention and deletion

Your vehicle profiles, sensor pairings, preferences and readings remain on your device until you delete them in the App (where available), clear the App's data in your system settings, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App removes its local data from your device.

We hold no server-side copy of this data, so there is no separate deletion request to make and no account to close.

9. Security

The App relies on the security model of your device: apps run in their own sandbox, and Bluetooth communication happens directly between your device and your sensors. Because tire data is not transmitted to us, it cannot be intercepted in transit to our systems.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device protected with a passcode or biometric lock and for installing operating-system updates.

10. Children's privacy

Tymate TPMS is a general-purpose vehicle utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can address it.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of personal information, and the right to data portability.

Because we do not collect personal information through the App, we usually hold nothing that these rights could act upon. If you believe we hold information about you, contact us at support@carecoretech.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not discriminate against users who exercise privacy rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

12. International users

The App is offered worldwide. Because tire data and settings are processed and stored on your device, we do not transfer personal information across borders. This website is served by a hosting provider that may process standard technical logs in the country where it operates.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements or our practices. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how information is handled, we will provide a notice in the App or on this page before the change takes effect.
